We invite your church, family, or business to consider renting our beautiful facilities for your next event!
Whether it's just yourself, a couple, a small family, or a large group of 60, you'll find that DHR's rental rates are very reasonable and the income we generate goes back into our programs to serve those with special needs.

- The Pavilion: Features a commercial kitchen, dining facilities for 150, and breakout/meeting rooms; air-conditioned.
- Two Bunkhouses: Each bunkhouse sleeps 28-30 and has 2 showers; air-conditioned.
- Hickory Lodge and Post Oak Lodge: Each of these lodges sleeps 16, has a full kitchen with dining and living-room areas; air-conditioned; 2 bathrooms in each lodge and each bathroom has 2 showers, 2 toilets, and 3 sinks.
- The Dock House: A small cabin overlooking our pond with a meeting room, small kitchenette, and restroom.
- The Pool Center: Includes a junior-Olympic size swimming pool, with changing rooms and bathrooms.
- Camping Facilities: We offer hook-ups for your RV's as well as primitive campsites.
There's plenty to do at Down Home Ranch!
- Visit the historic Lawhon-Gardener cemetery
- Hike around the property, through the beautiful meadows and the pecan bottoms.
- Visit with the horses, donkeys, and other livestock.
- Play basketball and other sports on our basketball court or covered patio
- View the many water birds who have set up housekeeping in our ponds.
- Most importantly, the Ranch is quiet, peaceful, and away from the hustle of the city. In the evenings, you can listen to the coyotes howl and the hooting of the owls.
As you can see from the photos, the facilities at Down Home Ranch are perfect for small retreats, family reunions, church or school functions, or just a quiet weekend getaway for your family.
